We have great news to share. Rev. John, the rest of the Nicaragua mission team and the toothbrushes made it safely to Nicaragua. The team is having a wonderful time being the hands and feet of Jesus. We cannot wait to hear their stories of friendship, adventure and service upon their arrival home.
Rev. Chuck will help give us some more insight into the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:1-20). In particular, we will focus on verse 16 which states, “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” In a world that seems to increasingly devalue honesty and integrity, how can Christians hold fast to this commandment that constitutes the DNA of Christian life?
We will also have a Pastoral Prayer from none other than Rev. Melanie Silva and enjoy a special Anthem from our Chancel Choir and Joyful Bells.
This Sunday there will be an opportunity to sign up for the small group book study on “Creed: What Christians Believe and Why”, support the Refugee Family that will be arriving on February 14th, and be in fellowship with our church community. You don’t want to miss it!
We hope to see you in worship this Sunday at 8 am, 9 am or 10:30 am.
Peace and Love,
