The welcoming and charming feeling is not only for your tour, it’s everyday, pick up and drop off and our child is always excited to go to school. The teaching staff has been at SDUMPS many years, which to us means SDUMPS cares for everyone, children and teachers alike.

While our child is learning academically, we see the compassion, respect, and creativity from playing in the glorious play yard and with tools from our childhoods. SDUMPS really stays true to a traditional preschool setting and we hope other loving families find their child’s start here too.”

San Dieguito United Methodist PreSchool is a hidden gem – a genuine loving, caring, nurturing environment for all the children enrolled. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make every child feel special and valuable, giving them the confidence and security needed to move forward in their lives and be all they can be.

In the early 1990s, I was lucky to have all three of my children attend. We had wonderful experiences, which I believe launched my children into amazing and productive futures. Recently, my oldest daughter enrolled all three of her children. Her son was in Miss Donna’s class, 30+ years after his momma. What a testimony that is to a program that thrives, works, and believes in children being the way of the future.

Our family had the great fortune of being introduced to San Dieguito United Methodist Preschool by friends, whose kids previously attended the school. We have four children, are currently on our fourth straight year at the school, and look forward to another two years after this, for a total of six.

We cannot say enough about every aspect of this school. The teachers and every staff member are amazing, the classrooms are wonderful, and the playground is a major hit! We feel so blessed to be a part of the this preschool’s family!

My daughter’s preschool has been such a gift. Her interests and creativity truly stem from the thoughtful, hands-on activities and the amazing teachers there. The outdoor learning spaces and playful activities foster her curiosity in the sweetest ways.

She goes to school each week so excited to see what they’ll be learning, always coming home full of stories and new ideas. It’s clear her love for learning is nurtured every single day!
